I am tired of Microsoft’s Windows Media Player (WMP). It is just too much. I want a media player that will play music and videos, you know, media. I have been using Nullsoft’s WinAmp for a week, and I like it. It is small, light, fast and meets my requirements. I am considering trying Apple’s iTunes, it seems to be the industry leader right now. My decision to use iTunes may be significantly influenced by my decision to purchase an iPod Nano, so this entire discussion may be a “moo” point. I suspect that I will have the same complaints with iTunes that I have with WMP, to bulky, requiring too many system resources. Decisions, decisions, decisions… If any of you have opinions on the matter, please comment.
P.S. I am rethinking my attitude towards software in general, this is not neccesarily an attack on Microsoft or their products (some of which are of exceptional quality).
