i've made quite a few trips up the 15 to hesperia in the recent months. what i've learned is that i need to move somewhere where i don't even need a car, so i don't have to deal with V8, 4WD Sequioas who don't know how to drive and stay in their own lane!

i think i'm gonna head back up to the bay area and sell my car.

i can't wait to see you in may, by the way!

I agree it can be annoying, but it could also be a lot worse! I remember when Jeff and I were back east a number of years ago and on 2 lane highways, trucks would want to pass each other sometimes: fine. But they will just get over whenever they want, even if they are going about 40mph up a hill and you are 10 meters away going 75! You literally have to be prepared to slam on your brakes at any moment when a truck is around because they are apparently immune from basic rules of the road. The sad thing is, everyone does it nowadays, not just trucks. Like, am I the only one that was taught that you shouldn't change lanes in front of someone if you are going to cause them to hit the brakes at all? It's a simple right-of-way issue. They have the right-of-way because they are already in that lane and you may just need to wait like TWO EXTRA SECONDS (the humanity!) till they get passed you. I would like to make a law that people that don't understand rights-of-way in traffic can be shot on sight.

I think it' so funny that you have a special category/tag called annoyances! I'm going to use that.
