I’ve installed rubygems 1.0.1 from source. And I set some env variables to install gems in my home dir and change my $PATH.My gems are install in ~lib/rubygems.This is in my ~/.bash_profile#Where to read fromexport GEM_PATH=/System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8:/Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8:~/lib/rubygems#Where to writeexport GEM_HOME=~/lib/rubygemsexport PATH=~/lib/rubygems/bin/:$PATHDon’t get any trouble yet.Thanks Carl!
