Gmail
I have switched to Gmail! I really lilke the clean interface and simple usefulness. I was bored with Microsoft Outlook, it is too cumbersome. Outlook is a very powerful program, but for reading and replying to e-mail, I really don’t need all of that other stuff. I also like the fact that Gmail doesn’t want you to organize your e-mail. I think the coming search-don’t-sort revolution is real. I often use Outlook’s search utility instead of bothering to organize my e-mail, but Google’s Gmail search is much more adept at finding what I am looking for.
Note: for anyone that cares, the transition will be perfectly transparent to you. I have set up an e-mail redirector on my server, and Gmail sends e-mails with my old e-mail address in the “From” section.
